I wear my hair in locks and when I first started them, I was self conscious about the way that they looked. I started them as two-strand twists so I worried about them not looking like locks. I worried about my hair looking like old twists, wild, and untamed. What got me through this transition phase were wide headbands. While looking for hair accessories for my MIL, I found a gem, Cover Your Hair. I’m talking BOOCOOS of hair accessories! Now that my hair has locked up, I’m accessorizing more. I love throwing on soft headbands of all kinds. They keep my locks out of my face and they add that special touch to any outfit.
